About ZeroJet
ZeroJet is accelerating the marine industry’s transition to sustainable energy with electric jet propulsion systems.
Founded by Neil Mans and Bex Rempel in 2015, ZeroJet’s goal is to largely replace internal combustion outboards with electric propulsion — resulting in significant emissions saving.
Their unique electric jet propulsion system is half the weight of a traditional outboard motor, resulting in faster and lighter boats, while also creating a zero emissions alternative to standard motors. The ZeroJet system aims to accelerate time to market for boat manufacturers and create new revenue streams for boat builders and resellers who want to tap into the emerging environmentally conscious market.
Support from accelerators, mentors and investors have enabled the ZeroJet founders and team to fast-track the building out of their tech in their quest to help the marine industry reduce it’s environmental footprint.
As an investor we look for passionate Kiwis that are solving real-world problems. We’re excited about the quality of tech start-ups in New Zealand, with so many opportunities for new investors to back.
