INTRODUCTION
The New Zealand Food Innovation Network is a Government-supported national network of open-access food and beverage production facilities. Weβre here to help innovative, ambitious food businesses develop, scale up and commercialise new products. From research and development, through to manufacturing, we support with advice, expertise and access to processing equipment and facilities.

NZFIN works with ambitious Food and Beverage companies of all sizes – from startups, SMEs through to larger corporates.
Food and beverage entrepreneurs and startups are often lacking food industry experience and knowledge. NZFIN fills the gap by offering advice, support, training and facilities to develop and scale up their ideas.

Entrepreneurs and startups use NZFIN to develop their products, to scale up, and to do regular commercial production runs in our open-access, export-grade pilot plants.
NZFIN also offers advice, connections and a range of in-person and on-line training courses such as:
βJump Startβ – this is a new on-line training course launched in 2024 that covers the essential knowledge that a F&B start up needs to be successful in NZ Aotearoa.
