Can you tell us a bit about your business?
Trakk Assets is a cloud-based Asset Management Information System (AMIS) used to manage infrastructure, public facilities, and commercial properties.
We empower organizations to ditch spreadsheets and gain control of their assets with visual tools, mobile access, and easy reporting.

What’s the backstory for your business idea?
I started my career in the trenches of engineering and infrastructure projects, where I saw firsthand the challenges teams faced relying on outdated systems and cumbersome processes to manage their assets.
Driven by a vision for a better way, I built the first version of Trakk Assets from the ground up. Combining my engineering expertise with a passion for software development, I created a solution that directly addressed the real-world needs of asset management teams.
My hands-on experience leading asset survey teams and improving asset databases for councils across New Zealand gave me invaluable insights. I knew what worked, what didnβt, and what was missing from existing solutions.
Trakk Assets was built with direct input from clients and rigorously tested in the field on large-scale projects.
