Who do you work with and what key challenges do you help them solve?

Nomad8 works with business leaders, product teams, and organisations who want to improve how they build and deliver value, especially when speed, alignment and adaptability matter.

We address challenges such as unclear roles, poor collaboration, low visibility of progress and stalled delivery. Our team introduces and supports agile and adaptive ways of working, provides product management training and coaching, builds business agility capability and fills product, leadership, or strategic roles on a fractional basis.

We help design modern organisations shift from hierarchy to responsible autonomy and make change stick. We also specialise in self-selection for teams, reimagining agility and creating environments where people thrive.

  1. Agile Ways of Working – We help organisations and teams adopt and embed agile practices such as Scrum, Kanban and Lean. Our focus is on helping teams to collaborate better, deliver better outcomes, and work on the right things.
  2. Business Agility Capability Building – We work with organisations to extend agility beyond IT, supporting marketing, HR, finance, and leadership teams to learn, collaborate, prioritise, and deliver more effectively.
  3. Training & Coaching – We run training courses for Team Facilitation, Product Management, Integrating AI into Your Team and Agile Foundations. Courses are Agile based, or tailored to fit your working context. We help to get the best tools and practices embedded in your organisation. We coach individuals, teams and organisations.
  4. Fractional Leadership & Team Roles – When hiring full-time isn’t possible, we can step in to the roles you need, as fractional product managers, leaders, project managers or change managers, ensuring critical roles are filled without long-term overhead.
  5. Workshops & Facilitation – Our tailored workshops help organisations with strategy development, team alignment, project kick-offs, high-performance coaching and decision-making. We design engaging, practical sessions that resonate with people and help to bring forward the best ideas and outcomes.

What recent news and highlights can you share about your work and impact?

  • Helped a major electricity retailer to deliver complex projects ahead of time and under budget.
  • Introduced Agile ways of working to the marketing team at RealNZ.
  • Introduced Lean Agile Procurement (LAP) to key organisations in NZ, significantly reducing the cost and time involved in procurement.
  • Led Agile ways of working for a private hospital and technology vendor in a joint venture, working closely with on-site nurses to improve patient outcomes.
  • Released the second edition of our book “Creating Great Teams” Ran. Reimagining Agility workshops in Europe and the US in a partnership with the Agile Alliance and PMI (Project Management Institute).
