Can you tell us a bit about your business?

Triage-Plus is a simple and cost-effective SaaS platform that provides critical real-time patient data from the pre-hospital environment to multiple organisations, giving visibility to those involved in patient care.

With Triage-Plus you know how many patients, how sick they are, where they are going and when they will arrive, allowing for care to be planned and resources allocated before patient arrival.

What’s the backstory for your business idea?

Triage-Plus was founded by a passionate group of clinicians and emergency services personnel who have first-hand experience in dealing with mass casualty incidents. They knew there had to be a better way of coordinating the responses to these events and improving the outcome for patients when every minute counts as have extended this knowledge to our day to day patients and emergency departments.

What programmes, learning or mentoring have been of assistance so far?

We were semifinalists in the 2020 Healthtech Supernode Challenge
Won a $30k grant from TSB Bank in 2020
Engaged Business Mentors New Zealand in 2020
Presented to the Canterbury Emergency Coordination Team in 2020
Pitched to Canterbury Angels in 2021
Held a multi-agency presentation in April 2021
