An introduction to this guide
What is the StartUp NZ ecosystem guide?
This resource is a “living, breathing” online guide and catalogue of the various organisations, agencies, groups and programmes that together make up New Zealand’s vibrant startup entrepreneur ecosystem.
It’s designed to help answer the questions we receive from entrepreneurs on an almost daily basis, about who can help them at each stage of their entrepreneurial journey. But it has also been designed as a tool to help students, media and other stakeholders learn about entrepreneurship and understand the roles of members of our ecosystem.
We’ll be constantly adding to the information in the guide, with regular category updates and featured ecosystem members.
“At Young Enterprise, we see ourselves as the building blocks of the startup ecosystem as we introduce students to the world of business, innovation and entrepreneurship. For many of our YES alumni who pick up an entrepreneurial spirit, they often wonder what they do next. That’s why we are so excited about Startup NZ. This will be a valuable resource for our alumni and all New Zealand entrepreneurs who want to learn more about our ecosystem and what’s available to them.”
– Terry Shubkin, CEO, Young Enterprise Trust
