Get inspired, get involved, get featured!

Join us online and on social media this December, as we embark on a digital roadshow to showcase and celebrate the entrepreneurs and organisations helping drive New Zealand forward in 2020.

Partnering with innovation hubs around the country, we’ll be meeting startups, innovators and the people supporting them from the deep South to the far North and every region in between.

If you’re a brave-hearted business owner, sizzling startup, or inspiring innovator the Startup NZ 2020 Innovation Showcase is your chance to get inspired, get involved and get featured!

Who can take part?

Kicking off December 1 in the Queenstown Lakes district (home of #nzentrepreneur) we’ll be showcasing entrepreneurs and startup ecosystem members in a new region each day through a series of stories, interviews and profiles. We’ll be working our way up the country covering 16 different regions in all before finishing our virtual tour in Northland on December 22.

To ensure each region is well represented we’re looking for at least 10 innovative startups or SME businesses in each of the following regions: Queenstown Lakes, Southland, West Coast, Tasman-Nelson, Marlborough, Canterbury, Otago, Wellington, Manawatu-Whanganui, Taranaki, Hawke’s Bay, Gisborne, Bay of Plenty, Waikato, Auckland and Northland.

Good for you, great for NZ!

For every startup or SME featured we’ll be giving away a scholarship to help young New Zealanders from their region learn about entrepreneurship with our Startup NZ Entrepreneurs Programme. The more support we get from businesses in each region, the more scholarships we can give. Good for you and great for NZ!
